Yes, we have decided to build our third City on the European continent instead of in Scotland or Ireland. This will of course increase tensions with Holland and/or Spain but conflict with these two Nations is inevitable. So let's get on with it before more powerful weaponry has evolved.
Our Trireme on sentry duty near Amsterdam.
We are bringing our troops home from Ireland - mission accomplished....
1910 BC: Our Archer embarks on a journey to France
1900 BC: Bronze Working has been researched and the good news is that there is Iron in England.
It's beteween the Copper and the Deer hex.
Our next Technology will be Trapping.
Our Scout has arrived in Plymouth and it is sent to the continent. We build a Granary next.
Sweden and Russia want us to join them in a war against the Ottomans - we refuse their offer.
1870 BC: Our Scout arrives in France and a new Settler has arrived in London. We send it on its way to the continent. In London we start building the Great Lighthouse.
We embarked the Warrior by mistake and it will be sent back to London.
1840 BC: We found Nantes and start building a Monument. Our Archer and Scout do a little more 'scouting'.
Next turn our Scout leaves France and heads to Africa.
Our nation's Statistics are as expected. Nice to see that we have the highest productivity - more than double the average GNP :)
Holland and Spain are not too happy but I apologize....
Our Scout is ready to land on the African coast....
....and I have accumulated enough Gold to purchase a Wheat hex.
That speeds up the growth of Nantes.
William of The Netherlands is peeved again and this time we tell him where to get off!
1810 BC: Our Scout ventures deeper into Africa - there are three World Wonders to discover....
1790 BC: We choose Citizenship as our next Social Policy and are rewarded with a new Worker.
1770 BC: We have finished researching Trapping and The Wheel is selected next.
Our new Worker will chop down a Forest in order to accelerate the Great Lighthouse production.
That ends this post. Until soon :)
