A Mediterranean Cruise - 2400 BC to 2180 BC

Beyond Iceland our Trireme discovers Greenland and London has grown again.
The Horse hex is just right for our new citizen and while we are here we place a Work Boat on the production queue.
Now that the Forest is gone our Worker can now construct a Pasture on the Horse hex.
Another Social Policy is available and we select Collective Rule which gives us a free Settler....
which we send to SW England.
2370 BC: My Archer arrives in London and it is sent to the site of our new City.
We grant Sweden and Morocco the permission to open an Embassy in London....
....and our Trireme has now found the Rock of Gibraltar which gives us a Happiness Point.
2350 BC: We found the city of Plymouth and a Monument will be built there first.
The Realm at the end of our turn.
We meet Attila the Hun and Suleiman of the Ottomans.
Attila asks us to join him in a war against India but we have no argument with Gandhi so we refuse.
2310 BC: In the Mediterranean our Trireme encounters a Barbarian Galley and we engage the enemy.
We allow Suleiman to open an Embassy in London.
This lady is persistent but our answer is still no!
2300 BC: It comes to a second round of combat and the Galley didn't fare well. You can't outrun the Royal Navy with the +2 Movement bonus :D
2290 BC: Our Trireme receives a Promotion which strengthens our warship against Naval Units.
The Barbarian Galley doesn't survive a third round of conflict....
2280 BC: We program a course for our Trireme to return home for badly needed repairs.
We grant Shaka the permission to open an Embassy.
2230 BC: Our Trireme is in home waters and is placed in repair mode....
....while my Work Boat arrives and improves the Crabs hex giving us 4 Happiness points.
Finally we add a Cargo Ship and a Settler to London's production queue.
Austria and Russia open an Embassy in London bringing more Gold into our Treasury :)
2180 BC: Our Trireme is ship-shape again and it is sent to explore North and East.
This ends this post. Cheerio :)
