We meet Haile Selassie of Ethiopia and Darius of Persia but only the latter can fund an Embassy in London...
We renew our lucrative Trade Route with Marrakech but given the tensions with our new neighbours this does appear to be risky.
We accelerate the production in Nantes by chopping down an adjacent Forest.
No guys, I don't want to go to war....
1690 BC: We meet M'Banza-Kongo and receive 15 Gold. They are of no interest to us....
We check the London City Screen and all looks fine - we are at maximum production. We start constructing an Iron Mine.
1670 BC: I purchase another Wheat hex for Nantes and adjust the citizens for max. population growth.
1640 BC: The Wheel technology has been successfully researched and the Monument in Nantes has been completed.
A Granary is selected to be built next and our scientists will now study Mathematics. We need Catapults and the Courthouse is definitely useful :)
1630 BC: Haile Selassie now has enough Gold so we grant him an Embassy.
Our Scout discovers Zanzibar which is more interesting because of the three Luxury resources which we don't have in England.
Those Spanish units have almost the same colour as ours - it got us confused for a moment.
1610 BC: We have found Mt. Kilimanjaro and we receive a Happiness point :)
A little dose of boring diplomacy....
1590 BC: We now meet Mogadishu which only has one Luxury resource - Pearls
Our Scout embarks in order to sail to Arabia.
Egypt appears to be popular. We shall make an effort not to annoy Ramesses...
1580 BC: We have completed the Great Lighthouse in London. Our warships receive an extra Movement point and we can see one hex further. Together with our +2 Movement for English ships our Navy now has a great advantage. Our Triremes can move 7 hexes per turn as opposed to only 4 hexes for other nations :)
In London we shall build a Settler next.
Not again! I am not interested, Catherine....
Our Scout has now reached the Horn of Africa.
1560 BC: Plymouth has grown - the Granary will be completed soon to ensure further growth.
155o BC: Our Scout discovers Arabia but they have no Gold.
That ends this post and we leave you with a view of East Africa. Until soon :)
