We receive the Writing Technology which enables us to build Libraries and open Embassies. Engineering is our next Tech. In Dundee our Granary is completed and a further Trireme is placed on order. A strong Navy will protect our shores and Trade Routes.
790 BC: We exchange Embassies with William of Holland - time to normalise relations until my military is stronger....
A Catapult arrives in Nantes and we construct a Wheat Farm East of the city - our Bowman protects the nearby border.
One of our Workers has reached the Shetland Islands and starts constructing a Sheep Pasture.
I check the City-Screen for Dundee and optimize the citizens....
....then finish the turn by ordering a Spearman in Nantes.
Sorry pal but now is not a convenient moment....
It looks like Austria has achieved nothing....
760 BC: Plymouth has grown to 5 citizens - looking good :)
William is not interested in a Declaration of Friendship - that's good because I don't want to upset my "allies".
750 BC: I check the London City Screen - all is good....
....and since we have enough gold we upgrade a Warrior to a Swordsman.
That ends my turn - my French enclave looks a lot better protected now.
Now Ramesses declares war on William - I'm beginning to feel sorry for him.
Changed my mind, Attila - sorry...
740 BC: Just moved a couple of units around....
....but now Sweden also declares war on Holland. That might achieve something....
Not interested....
730 BC: We've stationed a Trireme near to The Azores.
My Swordsman and Catapult swapped hexes - no we can see Madrid better....
The Ottomans and Holland have signed a Peace Treaty...
then Suleiman wants us to join him against Catherine - we decline.
720 BC: Dundee has received a fourth citizen and we put it to work in the mines.
My new Cargo Ship has arrived and we create a Trade Route to Amsterdam. Another reason not to declare war on Holland. We would lose both of our Cargo Ships.
We place our Swordsman on alert.
That ends this turn and post.
Maybe we should liberate Barcelona and then deal with Spain. We'll consider it at tea-time. Cheerio :)
