Cleansing Ireland - 2160 BC to 1940 BC

The Swedish city of Siguna blocks us from exploring further North around Scandinavia so we decide to look beyond Iceland instead....
Ramesses II of Egypt pays up front for an Embassy - We like that :)
The Pasture has been completed so a Mine will be built on the adjacent hill hex.
Our Realm at the end of 2140 BC.
We declare Friendship with Ahmad al-Mansur of Morocco.
Plymouth's border will next expand to include the Marble hex on Ireland - that's not good enough for us so we purchase the Silver hex next to our Worker.
2080 BC: Our Trireme has seen all it can see around Greenland so we order it back to friendly waters.
2050 BC: Optics has been researched and we enter the Classical Era. We choose Bronze Working to be our next Tech project.
The Monument has been completed in Plymouth and we order a Scout next. It will be sent to explore the neighbouring continent and beyond....
No, Attila. We have no interest in any of your wars!
2010 BC: We are a long way from building a Pantheon so we need a second Shrine in Plymouth.
We have only researched three Technologies - obviously we need more Libraries.
More Gold in the Treasury! Askia opens an Embassy in London and we establish a Trade Route to....
....Marrakesh in Morocco. 12 Gold and 3 Science points per turn :)
1980 BC: A Songhai city blocks further exploration around Africa so we order our Trireme home.
1960 BC: We have sent troops to Ireland to rid us of the Barbarian Encampment and to explore the Ancient Ruin.
While our Archer attacks the Brute our Warrior goes to the Ruin and finds 95 Gold :)
1940 BC: A third round of combat destroys the Brute and its Encampment - we collect another 75 Gold. A profitable expedition :)
Our Worker is now free to construct a Silver Mine for our Economy....
....while in Plymouth we add a Work Boat to the production instead of a Shrine. A Whale hex will provide us with 4 Happiness points and there are two such hexes SW of Plymouth.
Our Trireme has arrived home and we position off the coast near Amsterdam where it can observe all movements in the North Sea of other nations.
That ends this post. Cheerio :)
