In the North Sea we move a Trireme nearer to the Dutch coast to see where the enemy is then move it to safer waters again. The second Trireme is moved to home waters so that it can be repaired.
Near Faro two of our Triremes are promoted....
....then the latter is placed in repair mode.
Off Greenland our Trireme destroys the enemy warship....
....and the second Trireme almost reaches home.
We renew the Trade Route from London to Marrakech....
....and move a damaged Trireme to our Whales hex north of the Azores before placing it in repair mode.
We decide to move a Worker from the continent back to England. There is work to be done.
The Swordsman that captured Barcelona/Faro is placed in healing mode.
In Faro we purchase the Stone Works and optimize Growth and Production rates.
Finally another Trireme is now placed in repair mode.
That ends my turn.
Another player has created a Religion leaving only one left - I still need about 150 Faith points...
160 BC: We use our Trireme to scout the coast of Greenland revealing a Barbarian Brute.
Our two Catapults are being sent to the Nantes region for further combat.
The Composite Bowman north of Faro is placed on alert.
A second Bowman east of Nantes is moved to the Pyrenees....
....while a Catapult is moved nearer to the Dutch city of Utrecht and our Swordsman is placed in repair mode.
Our Spearman is placed on alert defending an Iron Mine
In the North Sea we start repairs on one Trireme....
....while a second Trireme is placed in repair mode on a Crabs hex.
The situation in western Europe at the end of my turn.
Two more nations, Egypt and The Ottomans, declare war on Holland - hopefully it might persuade William to accept our terms - we desire nothing less than Utrecht!
Well that ends this post - our forces are slowly but surely regrouping. Hopefully we can force the issue soon. :)
