A New City - 410 BC to 360 BC

We consult our advisors for information which could affect our planned offensive against the Netherlands. The Trade Route to Marrakech wont expire for another 25 turns so we have plenty of time to prepare.

Now that Sigtuna is no longer Swedish the only safe foreign trading partner is Iceland.

We try to be friends with Isabella but she obviously isn't enlightened enough....

400 BC: Our subjects begin to arrive at the Azores - ready for business :)

We place one of our Triremes on our Trade Route to Marrakech.

390 BC: We start chopping down a Forest to build a Mine and speed up production at our new city.

Our Settler arrives and we bring a second Trireme nearer to Barcelona.

380 BC: We found our city and call it Azores - very fitting :)

We start building a Monument and purchase a Shrine.

We send a Catapult to the upcoming theatre of operations....

370 BC: My Scout is blocked so I try sailing around Sigtuna....

Austria is amused....

....and Spain isn't - we appear apologetic because we don't want Isabella and William to be friends.

360 BC: Great, Calendar has been researched - I need that because I intend capturing a few Wine hexes from William :)

We and William are pretty much even at the moment - we shall change that soon :)

We select Philosophy because it enables us to build Temples and it eventually leads to Compass -> Galleass :)
