Scouting for Nothing - 570 BC to 480 BC

We place a Settler on London's production queue and a Worker is planned in Nantes.
560 BC: We don't need a Swordsman on The Azores so we order it back to the continent.
Our Scout has arrived in Nantes so we send it on its way to Greenland.
540 BC: Just what I need - a Dutch Trireme in the North Atlantic.....
Darius informs me that he is a friend of a friend so I don't join Attila's war against him....
520 BC: The Work Boat has arrived at Plymouth and we use it to improve the Whales hex nearby.
We shall build a Lighthouse in Plymouth....
....and we send our Scout along the coast of Greenland :)
Our Swordsman arrives near Nantes. End of our turn.
Holland is now at peace with Egypt...
....and there are only two religions left that can still be founded and I need another 304 Faith points!
500 BC: We are in the middle of the pack as far as food is concerned.
Now Sweden has a peace treaty with Holland! We order our Swordsman to defend the Iron Mine.
End of our turn.
We would love to say yes, Darius, but unfortunately we are not ready....sorry.
490 BC: Our Scout is ready to explore the Ancient Ruins and....
....we get a map.
A map of a region which cannot explore - yet.
Sorry, Attila - no war against Arabia either...
480 BC: Our Scout is no match for the Brute so we embark it.
Oh no! The ex-Swedish city in Norway is now Dutch! Come on, guys! Why are you giving William your cities?
Now Austria and Persia have declared war on Holland - please don't give the Dutch anymore cities!
That ends this post - not a post with a lot of progress. Until next time....
